Lecturer / Programme Leader in Digital Video Production and Marketing (BA) at University of Salford, I’m a seasoned brand marketer, creative and digital content professional with 15 years experience with agencies and brands large and small.
Over the years, I’ve also been a hardened film theorist, festival organiser and podcaster. My first book, Adventures in VHS, was a love letter to a childhood obsessed with cult movies, and I’m now researching and writing about film marketing and culture, leaning historically towards genre film and the 1980s.
Over the last few years I’ve slowly let go of every social media platform as honestly, I’m not sure that on the whole they are all that good for us.
